Poetry:Experiments in Silence

silence.

i answer your
tight-lipped disapproval with

eternal

silence

as you parallel yourselves in slow-moving
rows these few minutes feel

eternal

and silence

composes my complacency.
your thick-skinned composure

eternally

silent

while the assessment
continues to

eternity

silently

rests in the seconds between
sound when we validate silence and

return to eternity.
